The newborn all-cargo Italian company AlisCargo based in Milan Malpensa airport, has received its second Boeing B777-200 passenger with a freighter configuration.
Delivered last Saturday from Shannon after it got the final registration EI-GWB, it joined the fleet alongside the other B777 EI-GWA. It’s clearly visible which company used to operate this aircraft before.
Some rumors say that they reached and agreement with China Eastern Airlines to operates some flights between China and Italy. right now the Chinese company operates from Jinan, Shanghai and Hangzhou-Xiaoshan.
The company is in the final stages of getting its AOC. The first aircraft, which is nearly 20 years old, was operated most recently by LatAm Chile, but has been stored by Boeing in Phoenix since November 2019, according to Planespotters. It will operate without seats with a 55-tonne payload – until a suitable freighter can be found.
