On 11st of October, a Boeing 747 LCF Dreamlifter loses a wheel just after taking off from Taranto Grottaglie Airport (Italy).
Flight 5Y4231 from Taranto Grottaglie (TAR) to Charleston (CHS) took off at 07:09 UTC from RWY35, just after rotation and brake, one of its 32 wheels of the main landing gear fell down on the field and was found on a field near the airport. Luckily no one was hurt.
The aircraft, registration N718BA loaded by 787 fuselage made in the Leonardo factory, after 10hours and half of flight landed safely at its destination.
